This is a basic application that many people probably know. However, there are a lot of people are actually asking this in YahooAnswer. So, again, I thought it would be great if I can share this trick here.
You can set a website to be homepage of you browser (here, I am using Firefox as the example). By doing this, you will go straight to you favorite website when you start your browser.
I made this video to help you understand better. If you don't see the flash video below in 10 seconds (I have limited bandwidth), you can click here (I uploaded the video in Metacafe.com).
Here are the simple steps you need to do:
- Open Firefox
- Go to Tools -- Options
- Under Main, choose Show my Home Page
- In the box below it, type the website you want to set, e.g. www.google.com
- Click OK
